In 2023 Deutsche Grammophon celebrates a wonderful milestone: its 125th birthday. To mark the occasion the Yellow Label makes a selection of LPs available on vinyl for the first time ever.

"The Carnegie Hall Recital": The Piano Sensation of Fall 2013. Daniil Trifonov's sensational debut for Deutsche Grammophon, recorded at Carnegie Hall in 2013, is available for the first time on double vinyl. In this concert, Trifonov presented Liszt's massive Sonata in B minor, Scriabin's Sonata-Fantaisie in G-sharp minor Op. 19 and Chopin's 24 Préludes Op. 28, as well as the Molto Vivace from Nikolai Medtner's Four Fairy Tales Op. 26, which he played as an encore. The Süddeutsche Zeitung commented on the release with a telling "Finally!"; Norman Lebrecht described Trifonov as a "pianist for the rest of our lives."
