IN THE RECENT YEARS, WE WERE OBSERVING AN INCREASING TREND TOWARDS MINIATURIZATION - AT G.RAU WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY MANUFACTURING MINI PROFILES UP TO A DIMENSIONAL REGION OF 30 ΜM WIDTH AND HEIGHT.

We call contact profiles composite materials that consist of different individual components and are processed into complex geometries. For this we can use numerous carrier materials and a large number of precious metal alloys.

Contact profile wires serve as the starting material for making contacts that switch electrical currents. The layer thickness ratios of carrier and contact material, as well as their composition, are determined depending on the application and the required performance range.
