Compositions:

Each ml contains 200 mg Oxytetracycline as dihydrate.

 

Indications for use:

Oxytetracycline is an antibacterial agent that is effective in the treatment of a wide range of deases caused by susceptible Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

In cattle, sheep and goats, Oxy L.A. Inj. Is indicated in:

- Pneumonia and shipping fever complex associated with Pasteurella multocida and haemolytica.

- Food-rot and diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum;

- Bacterial enteritis caused by Escherechia coli;

- Wooden tongue caused by Actinobacillus lignieresii;

- Leptospirosis caused by Leptospira spp;

- Anaplasmosis caused by Anaplasma marginale

 

Dosage and administration:

For deep intramuscular injection

Calves, sheep, goats: 0.5-1 ml per 10 kg of body weight.

Dosage interval: 48-72 hours.

For large doses, it is advisable to divide the injection over several sites.

Storage:

Do not store above 25oC and do not refrigerate and freeze.

Vial of 100 ml
