Alhagi maurorum is one of the least expected plants in the warm plains of Iran. The flowering season of the thistle plant is from May to July in many hot and dry desert areas of the country and the thistle flowers are one of the most valuable herbs in beekeeping with abundant nectar and pollen production. Honey produced from pruning flowers is white to light yellow and very fragrant and is harvested as pruning honey in mid-summer. But the main value of this plant is due to our production of mannose by a species of lily in mid summer and after flowering in August to October. In areas where there are optimal conditions for this insect to live on the herbaceous plant, mannose sugar leachate is produced on the plant, and the bee produces a very unique medicinal product by collecting and processing it in the colony. Among beekeepers known as honeysuckle. Since it is not the origin of the bee product from the nectar of plants, it is scientifically better to call it Honeydew Honey. Honeycombs are well-known beekeeping products in the world and the most important honeys in the world are Pine Honeydew and chestnut honey. Tangerine honey because of its special sugar composition and rich in polyphenols and minerals is dark in color and is considered to be the highest quality of honey in Iran and even the world. This valuable bee product is especially produced in Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Tehran, Qom and Markazi provinces.
