Arrow-Clarke Thoracentesis Catheter is the first specially designed thoracic catheter in the form of a catheter on a needle and is very easy to use. With this device, the operation of draining the liquid can be done in two ways.
Unique one-way valve for pleura-seal occlusion for secure occlusion

The one-way pleura-seal valve is designed to prevent the possibility of pneumothorax. This valve closes when the needle is removed, which greatly reduces the risk of Pneumothorax (which is associated with open catheters held by hand).
Made of polyurethane

The Arrow-Clarke thoracentesis catheter is made of polyurethane. The presence of a side port also allows the injection of chemotherapy or sclerosing agents.
Liquid drainage in a closed circuit

Because Arrow-Clarke catheters have multiple pores, fluid drainage through these catheters is much better and faster than catheters with a single aperture (even for high-viscosity blood and fluids).
