Mepleson anesthesia system

In 1954, Mepleson was used to install a ready-made gas flow tube, a storage tube, a face mask, a storage bag, and an exhalation valve to administer anesthetic gases.
It has a storage bag and an adjustable valve at the bottom of the bag.
Clinical application
1. Controlled respiration of patients with endotracheal intubation.
۲. It is used in anesthesia of infants and children because it has little space and offers little resistance.
3. This system is inexpensive and can be used with a face mask or endotracheal tube.
4. It is light and it is easy to change its position.
