Free and hybrid chlorine

Chlorine is widely used as a disinfectant in drinking water, swimming pools, cooling towers and other industrial equipment and municipal wastewater, so its measurement and control in terms of economic and health aspects is essential. Chlorine kits of Wahib Chemical Industry Company are divided into two groups according to the type of measurement.
1- Colorimetric kits which include D.P.D tablets, D.P.D solution, powder D.P.D powder and orthotolidine method and are used to measure free and mixed residual chlorine in drinking water, pools and waste.
Volumetric kits, which include the FAS-D.P.D and iodometry methods, are recommended for measuring chlorine in waters with high residual chlorine.
