Tiva concrete carboxylate superplasticizer is a superplasticizer additive, neutral lubrication based on naphthalene formaldehyde, for sensitive concretes with high reliability in temperate or hot areas or concreting with compact and narrow reinforcement volume.
Indications
Tiwa concrete carboxylate superplasticizer is used in concretes such as: slabs, walls, columns, bridge piers, prestressed concrete, narrow and reinforced sections or any concreting that requires high strength and efficiency.
Advantages
Increases the final strength of concrete in case of reduction of 10 to 20% of water consumption, at the ages of 3, 7, 27 days.
Free of chloride and nitrate and does not damage reinforcement and concrete.
Exhales up to 70% of excess air.
It is compatible with all types of cement and can be mixed.
Its simultaneous use with minerals such as bentonite, microsilica powder and. Is unrestricted.
Complies with ASTM C494 Type F standard.
Consumption
Tiwa concrete carboxylate superplasticizer can be added to ready-mixed concrete (the amount of water used to achieve the desired final compressive strength) and stir the mixture for at least three minutes per cubic meter of concrete.
The most accurate method is: Mix sand, gravel and cement with 50% water for 15 to 30 seconds. Dissolve TC111 in some water (up to 30% water) and add it gradually. The remaining water consumption can be added to the mixture until the desired slump (workability) is achieved.
The diagram above shows the duration of slump reduction (efficiency) and initial setting of concrete at a rate of 1% by weight of TC111 cement consumption compared to TC111A and TC111B under the same conditions.
The diagram above shows the compressive strength of TC111 at a rate of 1% by weight of cement used compared to TC111A and TC111B under the same conditions.
