Insole material: leather
Coloring: Yes

White - Walnut - Burnt Coffee - Golden

more details

Style: Modern

Origin: Austria

Popular location: Europe

It can be said that the unique chair is designed and made by imitating Joseph Hoffman's chair. The curved shape of the upper back of the chair is designed with almost the same elegance and proportions, but decorative motifs have also been added. The number of support rods has been reduced and delicate decorations have been added for more effect. The footrests have also been removed, and instead the front footrests have been fitted to fit the back of the seat, similar to the tilted footrests, and aligned with the support arch.

Austrian Joseph Hoffman was trained as an architect, but he flourished in the turmoil of ideas that pervaded the space in the 1980s, and became a founding member of the Vienna section. His visual ideas were at the level of innovators such as Charles René McIntosh. He was a prolific designer of furniture, textiles and metalwork. His architectural work is also modern in style, and his exhibition booth has many visitors.

Famous chairs during this period include Joseph Huffman's Fladermos Café in Austria. This chair had some of the features of a Macintosh chair, but it was more abstract and more engineered. Although the chair was made of wood, it seemed to have more standardized forms for industrial production.
