Tallow amine polyethylene glycol ether

Brand: KETALO

Introduction

Ethoxylated tallow amine is a non-ionic surfactant that, like other types of non-ionic surfactants, is a mixture with a different number of ethylene oxide units. The number that comes after the name KETALO indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units in the ethoxylated talamine molecule. For example, KETALO 15 is a molecule of thalamine that has reacted with an average of fifteen molecules of ethylene oxide. Due to the presence of amine group in this structure, ethoxylated amines with low ethoxylated moles are cationic in nature, and with high ethoxylated moles, they show the behavior of anionic surfactants and are miscible with anionic surfactants.

General applications

Ethoxylated talamine is widely used as an emulsifier in the formulation of agricultural pesticides. This compound is absorbed on metal surfaces, fabric and mineral surfaces, and for this reason, it can be used as an anti-corrosion agent, softener and anti-static agent.

KETALO is used as an emulsifier, dispersing and wetting agent in the leather, textile, paint and resin, ink, cosmetic-sanitary industries, petroleum, metalworking, plastic and paper industries. This compound is stable in acidic and alkaline environments and is miscible with anionic and cationic surfactants.
