Tallow amine polyethylene glycol ether

Brand: KETALO 2

Introduction

Ethoxylated tallow amine is a non-ionic surfactant that, like other types of non-ionic surfactants, is a mixture with a different number of ethylene oxide units. The number that comes after the name KETALO indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units in the ethoxylated talamine molecule. For example, KETALO 15 is a molecule of thalamine that has reacted with an average of fifteen molecules of ethylene oxide. Due to the presence of amine group in this structure, ethoxylated amines with low ethoxylated moles are cationic in nature, and with high ethoxylated moles, they show the behavior of anionic surfactants and are miscible with anionic surfactants.

General applications

Two moles of ethoxylated tallow amine is used as a thickening agent, co-emulsifier, dye transfer inhibitor, anti-corrosion agent, neutralizing agent, dispersing agent, emulsifier, intermediate chemical and wetting agent.

Ethoxylated tallow amines are widely used in household and industrial detergents, paints, resins, textiles, metalworking, agriculture, leather and petroleum.
