Oleic acid polyethylene glycol ester
Brand: KEOL
Introduction
Ethoxylated oleic acid is a non-ionic surfactant that, like other non-ionic surfactants, is a mixture with a different number of ethylene oxide molecules. The number that comes after the KEOL name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide molecules in the mixture. For example, KEOL 15 is an oleic acid molecule that has reacted with an average of fifteen moles of ethylene oxide. Due to the type of reaction of fatty acids, the reaction product is a mixture of monoester, diester and polyethylene glycol.
General applications
Ethoxylated oleic acid is used in various fields such as agriculture, textile, metal plating, etc. as an HLB regulator, emulsifier and softener.
