Formaldehyde concentrate (UFC-85) is a clear, viscous liquid consisting of formaldehyde, urea, and balance water. Formaldehyde is first produced by the reaction of Methanol with Air. This is then absorbed in urea solution to form UFC-85. It provides the highest concentration of urea formaldehyde commercially available in an easy-to-use form in several industries and chemical purposes.

Storage:

To be stored above 0°C to avoid excessive viscosity and gel precipitation and below 45°C to avoid polycondensation. PH of stored UF-85 needs to be maintained above 6.5 pH units.
