Corn flakes is one of the most common breakfasts in the world, which is made with corn and is considered as a breakfast cereal. Cornflakes were first made by American John Harvey Kellogg.
The diversity of the cornflakes family is related to the addition of different ingredients such as sugar, cocoa, honey, fruit pieces and different flavorings. All cornflakes products are made based on corn and corn flour. This product is recommended in the morning or evening with milk.
Although some of these products contain grains without bran and sugar, they are enriched with vitamins and other nutrients. Cereals are natural sources of vitamins B6, folic acid, pantothenic acid and good sources of zinc, iron, manganese and copper and vegetable oils rich in vitamin E and linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid).
Benefits of use:
Consuming ready-to-eat breakfast cereals increases the intake of iron and vitamins and does not face the risk of excess or excessive consumption in adults who need them less.
Consuming fortified breakfast cereals increases the intake of nutrients and provides dietary recommendations.
Scientific studies have shown that soluble and insoluble fibers are essential in the human diet. Soluble fiber can reduce blood cholesterol and insoluble fiber is effective in preventing constipation, colon cancer and diabetes. Most whole grains contain at least 4 grams of fiber in their seeds, ranging from about 2 percent (in corn) to 11 percent (in wheat).
People who consume cornflakes have a higher intake of vitamin D, B3, B12, riboflavin, calcium, iron, zinc and potassium than others.
