Hot Tap

Operations are called hot-splitting operations in pipes and tanks containing high-pressure fluids (oil, gas, petroleum derivatives, petrochemicals, and even water and other fluids). The operation is performed while the lines or tanks are in operation and under pressure. Hot Tap operations are performed because the activity does not stop and the operation continues.

Hot tubing is called drilling operation that is carried out on tanks or lines under operation and can be cold or hot, and cold-welding and hot-welding.

Hotspot operations can be performed vertically, horizontally, and at any angle to the pipeline depending on the need, provided that there is sufficient space to install the hub, connector, and hotspot. New technologies allow us to create different branches on different types of pipelines, in different pressures and sizes, with different fluid and components. New lightweight hot-spot devices have recently enabled the operation of only one person without the need for blocking.

Reasons for using Hotspot:
We have two options for branching:
1- Completely stop the flow of the pipeline in order to put pressure on it and discharge the pipeline flow, rivet it and clean the pipeline, which means that the operation is down.
2- Use Hotspot

Advantages of Hot Tap:

Hot Tap operations allow us to split without stopping operation, which has many benefits, including:
1. Stopping operation can cause huge financial losses that can be prevented by Hot Tap
2. Prevent the interference and interference of different units
3. Production does not stop, so the work of other related units does not stop
