Differential pressure transmitter

One of the most common and useful pressure measuring devices in the industry is the differential pressure transmitter. This device senses the pressure difference between the two input ports and displays the signal indicating that pressure difference compared to the calibrated range in its output. Differential pressure transmitters may be built and operate based on any of the pressure sensing technologies.

By combining two differential pressure ports, a DP transmitter is made, which is a very adaptable and multi-purpose pressure measuring device. This device may be used to measure the difference of positive pressure (gauge or relative pressure), negative pressure (vacuum) and even absolute pressure, just by connecting the High and Low measuring ports in different ways.
In all DP transmitter applications, a series of devices are required to connect the transmitter's pressure sensing ports to the process points. For this purpose, plastic and metal tubes work well, which are usually called impact lines or measuring lines or measuring lines. They are sometimes called impact tubes, measuring tubes, or measuring tubes. In fact, these lines are the connecting wires used to connect a voltmeter to two points of the grid in order to measure the voltage. Typically, these tubes are connected to the transmitter and process by compression fittings, so that they allow relatively simple disconnection and reconnection.
