Beam is one of the most important sections used in construction structures. In fact, the main task of the beam is to withstand the shear stresses and momentary bends caused by the loads and weight of the beam itself. Their main characteristics are the shape of the cross-section, their length and gender and their constituents.
The beam, usually in architectural and structural engineering, is a long, smooth piece designed to withstand long loads. However, they are used in much smaller structures such as the chassis and body of a car and heavy cars. It should be noted that in the performance, the title of the beam essentially refers only to the horizontal pieces and refers to the vertical objects of the column.
IPE Beams: These types of beams are manufactured in Iran and Europe and are shaped like I and the thickness of the wings is not variable. The most popular type of beam in Iran is IPE.
INP beams: Mostly marketed in the Chinese and Russian markets. These beams are like I and the wings are thinner at first and thicker at the end and where they come together so they can be seen from a gentle slope.
IPB Beam: A wide iron beam or wingspan (such as H) whose wings are longer than the IPE beam.
When the V mark is inserted next to the beam name, it means that it is a heavyweight beam (IPBv) and if the letter L is placed next to the beam name, it is a light beam.
