Definition :
Medium Density Fiber Board (MDF) means medium-weight fiber boards. This fiber board is produced and produced, similar to a chipboard, from a detached fiber-reinforced "wood-fiber" bonded with a flat adhesive effect of heat and pressure. It also has a specific gravity of 650%> 800% <(gr.cm3). Of course, high quality MDFs generally have 720 (gr.cm3)
Production :
MDFs in Iran are mostly imported, which are raw, molten coating, embossed, molded, with different thicknesses.
points :
Advantages over chipboard are:

It is homogeneous and has smooth surfaces and edges that are compact and dense. It has the capability of machine tools and tools, and on the edges there is no need for drainage.
Its bending strength and elasticity are slightly higher than the ordinary chipboard.

Disadvantages:

It does not hold the nail and screw, causing rupture and cracking, which should be used with threaded screws.
Due to the use of urea adhesive, it has a slight resistance to water.

Uses:
Furniture, decoration, door molding, molding, carpentry. "Of course for indoor use"
