Straight hole mold
Head molds are the set of molds that the molding process creates only by volume change. In this process part of the wind blows and this volume change is caused by the flow of material from one part to another. Once the material has reached the yield stress, it enters the plasticity zone and the flow pressure of the material is equal, because in this mold, they usually perform several forming operations together. In these molds, the pressure and abrasion are high throughout the mold, so the mold brains and the flow surfaces are selected from suitable grades of tungsten carbide that have high toughness and relatively good abrasion resistance.
