Sunflower seed flour

Meal is the solid residue that remains after oil extraction from oil seeds.
Konjaleh was also called Konjareh, Konjar and Konjideh in the old days.
The remainder of anything such as grape, sesame, soybean, castor and the like that has been pressed or compressed and water or oil has been removed is called flour. Rapeseed, cotton seed, guar, sunflower, olive kernel, etc. are other seeds from which flour is obtained.
Meals are rich in protein and nutrients and are valuable for feeding poultry, fish and other animals. Flour is usually broken into smaller pieces or ground into flour before being sold. The meal of some seeds, including castor and jala tree, is poisonous to eat, and they are only used as fertilizer.

Oily meal can be considered as a food supplement due to its high protein content. A number of oily flours, especially its edible types, have been proposed as substrates for biological processes. They have been used in the fermentation process to produce enzymes, antibiotics, fungi, vitamins and antioxidants and other things.
