Shahrokhi fire dampers are used to prevent smoke and fire from passing to another area in the air channel.
These dampers are installed vertically along the wall or partition and horizontally along the ceiling.
Description
Shahrokhi fire dampers are made in three types of shutters, parallel and 7-8.
These dampers have an access valve to control and replace the fuse (Figure 5) and are also equipped with a formal system to block the air channel as follows:
A) The steering system using a thermal element with a working point of 71 degrees Celsius can be used in all three types of dampers.
b) The steering system using a thermal fuse with working points of 68 and 79 degrees Celsius can be used in all three types of dampers.
c) Command system using smoke or heat detectors that can be used in parallel type dampers 7-8.
Korean fire dampers
Korean chorus type dampers have a number of integral vanes connected to each other, which are fixed by a damper holder in the open state.
During a fire, the damper will be closed by the weight of the blades in the vertical installation mode, and by a special spring in the horizontal installation mode. (Figure 6)
There is also this feature in this type of dampers to reduce the air pressure drop. He placed the vanes in a chamber out of the way of air passage (Figure 7).
Parallel fire dampers and 7-8
Parallel and 7-8 type dampers have a number of vanes connected to a common lever mechanism, which keeps these vanes stable in the open state by a damper holder.
During plowing in the vertical installation mode, the damper will be closed by the weight attached to the vanes (Figure 8).
Also, this feature exists in horizontal or vertical installation modes, which connect the lever mechanism to an electric motor (Figure 9).
Materials
Frames and spokes are made of galvanized sheet or steel with a thickness of 2 mm with good quality.
