The controller or constant air volume terminal (CAV Box) is used to keep the air flow rate constant in air conditioning systems and can be installed horizontally and vertically in the supply and discharge channels. The body and control mechanism are made of galvanized sheet. The damper vane is located in the center and controls the rate of air flow. The flow rate adjustment system has a rotary pointer, controllable flow range and pointer lock to manually set the flow rate to a specified value.
The flow rate control is mechanical and no power source is needed. The existence of a special control mechanism in the construction of the blade and the flow rate adjustment system guarantees high control accuracy in the functional range of each size. In the minimum and maximum flow rate range (Vmin, Vmax), the amount of air required can be adjusted. The flow rate of the passing air remains constant in the pressure changes within the specified range.
