Channel electric heaters of Shahrokhi Technical Institute are designed and manufactured as independent heating terminals. Some of these heaters are made to be connected to equipment such as heat pumps, fans and variable air volume (VAV) terminals, and some of them are made as heating units to be connected to air channels.
These heaters control the thermal conditions in the ventilated space with high accuracy by supplying variable heat. Installing channel electric heaters in different parts of a building creates the most flexibility to control each thermal zone.
Shahrokhi Technical Institute's heaters are designed, manufactured and installed with electrical resistant elements that have a suitable pattern in the air path. If the flow of air passing through them is a constant value, they provide constant heat. The surface temperature of the elements may vary from 800F to 1200F (427 to 649C) under normal operating conditions, so the temperature is below that which would cause the elements to fry. The heating elements are placed directly inside the air flow and create little resistance to air movement. These equipments can be used to provide primary heating, reheating, preheating and supplementary heating.
Primary heating: It is a heat source for heating the entire building.
Pre-heating: It is used to increase the temperature of the air entering the building and before any other heating equipment in the air conditioning system.
Reheating: It is used to increase the temperature of the air entering the space that has already been conditioned by the air conditioning system.
Supplementary heating: It is used for use in temporary conditions and to supplement the heat capacity of other equipment such as heat pumps.
