Hydrocyclone

Hydrocyclone or sandblasting machine is a simple and effective tool for removing granular materials and abrasive solids from water. This device is used to separate and remove sand particles from the incoming flow to distribution networks and water and sewage systems. The special application of the hydrocyclone is to separate sand and abrasive particles from the water of wells and rivers. Grains such as sand particles in water, in addition to consumer dissatisfaction and the possibility of water contamination, cause the erosion of pumps and piping systems. In the hydrocyclone, by creating an eddy current, it is possible to separate particles larger than 50 microns by centrifugal force up to 95% efficiency. The required capacity of the device is calculated and selected based on the water flow rate.
