In the compression chiller with a water condenser or water-cooled compression chiller, the heat exchanger of the condenser is a shell and tube type in which the refrigerant passes through the pipes and exchanges heat with the water that flows around the pipes (inside the shell) and the water takes the excess heat of the refrigerant.
