Activated carbon filter

Active carbon is used to remove taste, smell, color, organic matter and free chlorine. These filters are saturated once in a while according to the amount of solids in the water and do not need to be backwashed.
These filters are designed as cylinders under pressure, their body is generally made of carbon steel coated with epoxy paint or FRP.
