Liquid chlorinator

The gas chlorination system includes an automatic wall injection device with a vacuum regulator device, as well as an injector device with a booster pump, a changer device, and an analyzer device to show the amount of remaining chlorine, along with a sampling pump, a control panel, and a gas cylinder. has been
Chlorine gas is placed in metal cylinders of different dimensions, which contain 2 to 50 kg of chlorine. For important stations, 500 to 1000 kg chlorine tanks are used. In the lower part of these containers, chlorine is in liquid form and in the upper part in gas form. The pressure of chlorine gas is equal to the pressure of its condensate at ambient temperature. For common installations where the work flow rate is not very large, the gas phase of the cylinder is used.
Gradually, as the amount of gas is reduced, liquid chlorine, vaporization and its substitute will decrease, so that the pressure remains constant. The pressure value at 15 C is equal to 6 bar, and as the temperature increases, the pressure also increases 4 times at 2 C and 12 bar at 40 C. So the gas flow rate depends on the temperature, but it depends on the evaporation level, i.e. to the cross section of the cylinder.
Obviously, for a small cylinder, the flow rate cannot be higher than 100 grams per hour (up to 10 kilograms) and for a large cylinder, it cannot be higher than 400 grams per hour (15 to 50 kilograms). In order to create more evaporation surface, horizontal cylindrical tanks are placed.
The principle of sterilization with chlorine gas is that chlorine gas is mixed with water after previously reducing the pressure, and then the resulting chlorinated juice is introduced into the water to be purified according to the values determined by the chemical engineer.
