Membrane washing and neutralizing acid

0 is an anti-sediment to remove inorganic deposits and iron deposits, which is used in reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and reverse osmosis nanofiltration.
- An effective cleaner for a wide range of mineral salts
- A product to remove iron deposits
- Ensuring optimal solubility for iron salts and aluminum-based precipitates by adjusting the pH
- Can be used with polyamide and cellulose acetate membranes
- Has compatibility approval from many major membrane manufacturers
Physical and chemical properties of the product
Below are the general specifications of DEQUEST® SPE0560. Product specifications are available upon request.
Application and dosage level
- 3-4% DEQUEST® SPE0560 solution should be used, which should be diluted with good quality water.
DEQUEST® SPE0560 solution should be soaked and circulated around the membrane for at least 1-2 hours.
- When using DEQUEST® SPE056, the pH of the cleaning solution should be kept constant at around 3.7. If the pH rises above 4.2, the solution should be discarded and replaced with fresh solution.
It is recommended to clean the membrane at a temperature of 25-30 degrees Celsius.
- Membrane manufacturer's guidelines regarding pH and temperature should always be considered.
- At the end of the cleaning phase, before entering the system into operation phase, the membrane must be completely washed to ensure the complete removal of the cleaning solution.
Health and safety
DEQUEST ® SPE0560 is an aqueous solution and a mixture of acid stabilized with a fluidizer and is classified as a non-toxic substance.
This product is corrosive to carbon steel and therefore all tanks, pumps and pipes must be made of acid resistant materials. The safety information table of this product is available upon request.
