Dry gas filter

Dry gas filter is one of the most common types of purification systems in pressure reduction stations, which is based on separating impurities with gas while passing through cylindrical cartridges. The most key and sensitive part of a dry gas filter is related to the cartridges that are installed inside it. The cartridges are in the form of hollow cylinders, which are filled with suitable filters and prevent the passage of polluting particles. These cartridges have different materials and dimensions depending on the type of pollutants accompanying the gas as well as the operating conditions (gas volume, temperature and design pressure, etc.), which differ in the stability, refining efficiency, and diameter of the filtered particles. Cartridges can be made of paper, polypropylene fibers or fabric and can be folded or smooth in various shapes and forms. The best and most conventional criterion to detect the time to replace the cartridge or the need to review and clean them is to check the pressure drop created between the flow entering the filter and exiting it. Therefore, it is necessary to install equipment to measure and display the pressure difference on all filters equipped with the cartridge system. All dry filters made by Azarpojohan Andish Engineering Company are equipped with a pressure difference indicator system (D.P. Indicator).
