Heliox gas mix or Heliox calibration gas or respiratory mix that is used in deep diving and respiratory patients. This gas mixture consists of a combination of helium and oxygen gas, which is marketed under the Heliox brand name.
Helium gas is used due to its low density compared to other gases, as well as oxygen, which makes it easier to supply oxygen and breathe in high depths or patients who have breathing problems.

Heliox gas mixture consisting of helium gas and oxygen gas is provided in 40 and 50 liter cylinders with light (helium) and gray (oxygen) colors according to the BOC standard. Heliox calibration gas is due to the presence of inert compounds from the right valve. DIN6 or BS3 round is used.
