The pressure relief valves designed and manufactured by GPE are used to adjust the excess internal pressure inside the floating roof storage tanks.
The compression of the vapors in the tank during loading or the expansion of the vapors and its increase due to the increase in temperature will cause the tank to be under pressure.
The rate of adjustment of breathing of the tank depends on the dimensions of the tank, the amount of the tank contents being released, the amount of loading or unloading of the tank. Please refer to the API2000 standard for more information and requirements regarding the breathability of atmospheric tanks.
The spring-type pressure relief valve creates pressure relief and adjusts the pressure of the tank, which can be provided with a wide variety of materials according to the project specifications in the pressure range from 500 to 1720 mm of water (mmWG).
Repairs and service of all products that are included in the range of faucets should be done by an experienced and approved technician, preferably in a workshop with sufficient facilities and according to the relevant service and maintenance booklet.
