Emulsion bitumens

Bituminous emulsions or slurries are two-phase systems that consist of bitumen, water and one or more additives to form, stabilize and modify the properties of slurries. Qirabahs are divided into four families. The first two families are used more than others.

Cationic fluids
Anionic liquids
Non-ionic liquids
Clay tiles

Emulsion bitumens are classified into the following types according to the breaking speed and type of application:

RS early breaking emulsion bitumen
MS slow breaking emulsion bitumen
SS bitumen retard emulsion

Currently, the type of cationic precipitator is the most widely used in the country.
