The liquid gas is a mixture of light hydrocarbons, mainly C3 and C4, which are kept under pressure under liquid conditions. Propane and butane vary in proportion to the summer and winter season in liquid gas. The product is commercially available as commercial botanine, commercial propane or a mixture of these two. LPG is used as a domestic and industrial fuel, as well as as a substitute for chlorofluorocarbon compounds in refrigerant systems.
