Godakhtar Company was founded in 1361 in Arak Industrial City by Mr. Morteza Khalili. The company has been involved in machining activities since its inception. In 1985, he established his own production workshop in Arak industrial town of Arak as the first private industrial unit and since then he has added machinery and equipment for defense industries as well as the Corps for the manufacture of war weapons including mortars. In line with the comprehensive structural developments in the Oil Industry Equipment Company, the company has been divided into a number of oil and gas companies and in July 2004, the Sadr Steel Fusion Company, in charge of steel casting, was responsible for all parts required by the Fusion Company. The equipment for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries was taken over and pursued as a separate and independent unit.
