Hydro Atlas Factories Company was founded in 1974 (1975) with the focus on transferring technology to Western Europe, to produce various types of cranes and road construction machinery licensed by Atlas GmbH Germany. Hydraulics is the first manufacturer of crane and backhoe loader in the Middle East and also the first importer of road construction machinery in Iran.

The plant comprises units of production, planning, engineering design, quality control, research and development, quality assurance, repairs and warehousing, and specialized personnel are employed.
