As the dominant modern manufacturer of medical devices affiliate with the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Helal Iran Medical Devices Co. aka Soha, was founded in 1992 with premises covering over 30,000 m2 area of land 52 kilometers northwest of Tehran, Iran.
Countering the national dependence upon import of medical devices, and transfer of medical technology as well as job creation were amongst the rationale behind the establishment of such a company.
Since its foundation, the company has taken great steps towards its qualitative and quantitative development, achieving its predetermined goals.
