Sarma Afarin is the most famous name in the air-conditioning industry in Iran and is considered as the father of the air-conditioning industry. Based on over 50 years of experience and implementing latest technologies, this company in proud of participating in many major projects of the country’s facilities.It is important to note that all products of this company are produced according to the drawings , instructions and production methods of the international company Carrier and in accordance with the agreements exchanged with the company.
These agreements include transfer of manufacturing technology, production drawings, testing and technical specifications of the parts and components consumed and approved by Carrier Company. Also, complete documentation regarding production and test methods as well as training at the premises of Carrier’s factories for the staff. Full observation over manufacturing process, quality control and even installation by its representatives is part of this commitment.Sarma Afarin Iran (Public Joint Stock Company) was registered on 09/10/1968 under the number 12605 and the first name of Thermoferig Co.
According to the license No. 339881 dated 10/15/1972, the operation of the plant began and later on 10/15/1973 this company joined carrier and sold 50% of its shares to the Carrier Company, and therefore the name of the company changed to the Carrier Thermoferig (Private Equity). On the 16th of July, 1983, once more the name of the company was changed to Sarma Afarin Industries. On 16th of March, 1984, the company was changed its status from private equity and was accepted on the Tehran Stock Exchange on 10/22/1991. Currently, the company is run by the Board of Directors elected by the General Shareholders’ Meeting
