About us :
Drives and other components for turntables have been manufactured in St. Georgen in the Black Forest since the beginning of the 20th century. Later on, the production of complete devices began, and the DUAL brand became world-famous. In the meantime, DUAL was one of the largest phonotechnical companies in Germany and Europe. DUAL celebrated its greatest successes in the 1970s, but the company had to file for bankruptcy in 1982. It was bought by the French Thomson Group and finally taken over by Schneider Rundfunkwerke AG.

Takeover by Alfred Fehrenbacher:
In 1993, Alfred Fehrenbacher took over the entire production of the analog turntables. He had been working for DUAL since the 1960s and was very familiar with the devices. This made it possible for DUAL turntables to be manufactured in St. Georgen in the Black Forest to this day.
Today's production:
Every year we produce between 15,000 and 20,000 turntables of various brands and sell them worldwide. We are particularly proud of the production of our DUAL turntables. Then as now, they stand for excellent quality and excellent sound.
