Founded in 1954, the owner-managed medium-sized company COR produces manually manufactured seating furniture for international markets at its Rheda-Wiedenbrück location. The premium brand COR (lat. Heart) is distributed worldwide through the upscale specialist and contract trade. With the high-quality furniture, designed by well-known designers, apartments and houses, hotels, lounges, embassies, museums, banks or airports are furnished. The carefully maintained and continuously developed product portfolio for the residential and contract sector includes sofas, armchairs, chairs and tables. COR is regularly recognized for its outstanding design and corporate achievements. The continued success is based on a willingness to innovate, design and traditional craftsmanship. Management, designers, technicians, carpenters and upholsterers from COR share a passion for creating lasting values and quality in contemporary design, regardless of trends and fashions. The modern manufacture in East Westphalia, the heart of the German furniture industry, employs 220 people and trains talented youngsters itself.

Brand house
The world's largest exhibition in the COR Haus is located in the immediate vicinity of the production site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück on around 2,000 / 3,000 square meters of designed presentation space. The current programs of seating and upholstered furniture as well as diverse fabric and leather collections are shown there, supplemented by a generous exhibition for furnishing the contract area. The historical COR collection is staged on a further exhibition area - as an informative journey through time through a successful product and brand history of over 60 years. (As of April 2017)
