Local production has several advantages. For this reason, we decided on the production location in Saxony. As a company based in Dresden, we want to support the local economy. For this reason, our products are made in a region with a long textile tradition: the Ore Mountains. We can reach it within approx. 1 hour's driving time.
We are in direct contact with the manufactory and know the people and working conditions on site very well. With the help of this manufactory, we can produce small and large quantities without any problems, without having to forego quality and rapid implementation. Furthermore, a seamstress supports us in a small town near Dresden. It helps us to implement new products and is only half an hour away by car.
We also attach great importance to regionality when selecting our materials. That is why our cords & zippers are produced in Germany. The felt from recycled PET bottles comes from Italy and the cork from Portugal. UlStO stands for puristic design and a sustainable lifestyle. Plant-based and long-lasting materials are processed into unique bags and accessories under fair conditions in Germany. We focus on longevity and sustainability.
