What once began so contemplatively was to become the cornerstone for Northern Germany's largest furniture store for beautiful living ideas and accessories. In 1936, Artur Kraft took over the management of the small carpentry and furniture shop in the second generation. Supported by the great demand for furniture in the post-war period, the company expanded. Artur Kraft wanted to fully meet people's desire for more modern comfort and moved to Ziegelstrasse in 1954, where the well-known red and white Bad Segeberger furniture store is today, without advertising well beyond the borders of Schleswig Holstein became known. Artur Kraft's sons also followed in the footsteps of their grandfather and father and supported Artur Kraft with innovative ideas from 1973 onwards. FURNITURE KRAFT operates 10 furniture stores nationwide. In addition to the head office in Bad Segeberg, there has been another furniture store on the southern outskirts of Hamburg in Buchholz in the Nordheide since 2001. In 2007 a furniture store opened in Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf near Berlin. Three more furniture stores followed in 2009 in Dresden, Leipzig-Taucha and Halle-Peißen. With the opening of MÖBEL KRAFT Marzahn in 2017 and the opening of the two locations in Elxleben (Erfurt) and Jena in 2020, the traditional company continues its continuous growth. MÖBEL KRAFT is a classic full-range and full-service furniture retailer. In addition to a large selection of furniture and kitchens, customers can look forward to a diverse range of lamps, electrical appliances, household goods, home textiles, carpets and gift items.
