ADM is one of the largest processors of soybean meal, soybean oil, palm oil, ethanol, fructose syrup and baking flours. The European headquarters are in Rolle in the Nyon district on the north bank of Lake Geneva. In Germany, the company operates oil mills in Hamburg-Heimfeld (Noblee & Thoerl GmbH), Mainz (Soya Mainz), Kleve (Spyck oil works) and Straubing (oilseed processing). In addition, there are ADM biodiesel plants in Hamburg, Leer and Mainz. In 2009, ADM took over Schokinag in Mannheim. ADM also offers storage and transport services for agricultural products.
