What does Celanese do?
We make products that make life that little bit better by helping our customers bring their inspiring ideas and innovations to life. Within our global production network of the core segment Acetyl Chain, we manufacture essential materials that are further processed and used in the global chemical, paint and lacquer industry. With our broad product portfolio from the Material Solutions core segment, for example, we improve the further development of products in the automotive industry and consumer electronics and enable life-improving products in the fields of medicine, food and beverages.
Where is Celanese based?
Our headquarters are in Dallas, Texas. Celanese has around 7,700 employees worldwide who work at numerous locations to develop and produce solutions for our customers. From Dallas to Frankfurt to Shanghai, Celanese has a global network of 13 administrative locations, almost 20 commercial facilities and technology centers, over 40 production sites and around 10 joint ventures.
