Kober was founded as a wagon factory. Already in the 2nd generation, the company specialized in the production of sporting goods such as sledges, skis and paddles made of wood. The advantages of plastic were quickly recognized and used in the third generation. The previous products made of wood were joined by skis and paddles made of PUR foam, fiberglass and carbon.
Today - in the 4th generation, we have varied and distinctive product lines that contain the right product for everyone.
1986
100 years later, Hartmut Moll (today's head of the company and creative head) founded the Moll paddle brand, creating new space for his many ideas. He developed the tried and tested RIM paddles in what was then a sensational lightweight construction. Shortly afterwards, technical molded parts made of PUR are also produced.
1992
Hartmut Moll takes over the family business, Kober Sportgeräte, and from now on develops products for Kober & Moll in many different technologies.
1996
With the KOMO brand, Kober & Moll produces the first ergonomic workplace mats made of PUR and rubber. Success quickly sets in in this business area, which is reflected today in a very extensive range for all conceivable areas of application. Quality "Made in Germany".
2000
Relocation to the new plant in Pfalzgrafenweiler.
