NAHAVAND CEMENT INDUSTRY COMPANY was installed in 25/6/1382 in Tehran co registry & industrial properties department No 209132 with activity subject: the annual production of one million tones cement in Hamadan province and other neighboring provinces and also export to Iraq. Therefore about 130 hectares of land was purchased to install the plant which the plant utilities were installed in 65 hectares of the land.

The constructive activities of the site started practically attending building contractor from May 2006 and to end of financial year 2010 has reached to 96.24 % of physical progress.
During 2010 due to financial problems and banks personnel shrinkage system which sent the lag in construction and perfection of project; through 24 hour attempt of personnel and supporting of investors and board members, the company could produce clinker in October and in 14/1/1390 the first line of cement mill was inaugurated. The second line of cement mill was operated in 16/5/1390 and finally in October 2011 NAHAVAND cement plant was inaugurated officially by Mr. Rahimi as prime vice president.
