Iran's Marinos factories were established in 1966 with the aim of producing wool and woven fabrics in the city of Qom and in the beginning of the year. It was established by the name of the special waxing company of Iran, and it was exploited in 1349 and fully exploited in 1351. In 1973, the company changed to the wool of Iran Merino and in 1354 it became a public joint stock company, and in 137 it was finally changed to the name of Iran's Merinous factories.

The company was admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange in February 1976 and its name was listed on the stock exchange this year.
