Sarvestan Zardaneh Salt Company started its activity in the field of salt production in 1375, under the brand name Crystal Pars and its affiliate of Arshima food industry. The existence of a salt dome near the Sarvestan (80 km southeast of Shiraz), which until then remained intact, raised the idea of exploiting the mine.
