Iran Khodro Industrial Dies,was inaugurated in 1994 under the name of "CALBIRAN" by the then president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, with a capacity of 500 tons of Stamping Dies and Panel Gauges
In 1997 and 1999 Iran Khodro in two stages, succeed to purchase 100% stock of "CALBIRAN". While changing company name to "Iran Khodro Industrial Dies Co", the responsibility of design and manufacturing dies for the first national car under the project called"X7" (SAMAND) was handed over to this company.
Simultaneously with design and manufacture of dies for national car and considering the goal of body dies manufacturing in various sizes from G1,G2,and G3,this company plan for development in two phases called development plan I and II .
Development Plan I
In development plan I, the company increased its capacity of 500 tons to 1460 tons dies and P/G in 2003 by purchasing high- tech 5 (five) axis cnc machines and constructing four work shops at 23,000 m². During this time technical personnel were dispatched to various countries with advanced knowledge of die manufacturing, such as, Japan, France, Germany and Italy, for training and transfering technology for manufacture of stamping dies and P/G in G1 ,G2,G3, size.
Development Plan II
In 2003 by making strategic desicion , and after assessment and technical and economical studies proceeded to install the most advanced mechanized production line, as development plan phase II. Having 8000m² foundation and 3 (three) robotic press lines ,2 (two) manual press lines, the company was capable of producing car body panels in G1, G2 and G3 sizes.
In 2007 by installing assembly line, started to assembled the produced parts so that the customer confidentially handed over the stages of design, simulation, CAD-CAM, foam modeling, machining, initial assembly, try out, QC, production of panels and body assembly to this company to be carried out.
Today Iran Khodro Industrial Dies Co. with around 860 qualified and technical personnel and 53.000m² lands, the latest machinery, and the ability to manufacture the most complex body panels, established the university of applied science and technology to develop the know ledge of society , and train the young to keep technical values and hold the flag of the Islamic republic of iran flying high.
