Pure terephthalic acid (PTA) is one of the most important raw materials for the production of PE PET resins, with the growth of its production and consumption in the world very impressive.

Polyethylene terephthalate is also one of the most important polyesters used in the production of fiber and cotton for textile industry, producing bottles of beverages, cans and containers used in food packaging, pharmaceuticals and sanitary, as well as plastic film manufacturing industries. Growth in production and consumption is increasing.

In addition, Shahid Tondoogan Petrochemical Company is also a manufacturer of two major strategic and strategic POY and STAPLE products.

According to the organizational chart, the forces required for the operation time of 1180 are official personnel, and the rest of the required forces are provided through contractors in the private sector. The employment rate of this project is projected to be 5,000 in the downstream industry.

The total investment amount is $ 774 million and 2085 billion rials, and the annual sales volume in design capacity is estimated at more than $ 800 million.

Major construction, installation and pre-commissioning contracts for PTA-2 with the company's industrial networks since August 2003, and for the development of industrial networks for PET-2, was concluded from December 2003. Construction and installation activities were 100% performed by contractors in Iran.
