Tepko, holding the Patent number 46571, is the first Iranian producer of portable phototherapy devices (for at-home treatment of neonatal jaundice)
Production of 4-lamp and 6-lamp LED devices was launched in 2010. Compared with fluorescent devices, LED devices are lighter, smaller, and more economical and can be easily transported to the furthest points of the country and even villages, with a very lower cost than hospitalization of the neonate. Unlike similar products, this device has reliable approvals and special features. In addition, in order to prevent further costs to the owners of fluorescent devices, the produced LED lamps are similar to 20-watt fluorescent lamps in dimensions and appearance and can easily replace them, converting the bulb devices into LED ones.
